When baths are wall-fitted, they are hard up against a wall and are against either 2 or 3 walls.
Looking at the bath in the picture below you will notice that there are 3 walls that the bath backs on too.
One of the side walls could back on to a shower and it could be either tiled or it could be glass.
You may have a bath that is built hard up against your vanity.
You may have a bath that backs onto 2 walls meaning there are two open sides.
You may have a bath with a ledge inbetween the bath and a wall.
The TUBmat® suits all of these different types of bath installations as long as there is a flat area for the legs to sit on and the size of one of our models can fit inbetween the space that you have. Please read on for what to measure and how you can receive a quote from our website.
The frame is totally adjustable.
The width expands from 650mm (65cm) out to 750mm (75cm) so if your bath width measures between this range you will be able to adjust the frame to suit it.
The length of the frame will expand from 1120mm (112cm) out to 1880mm (188cm) to suit our 9 models in our range.
When measuring your bath refer to the diagrams above and measure A the length and B the width.
A The TUBmat® model range suit baths measuring between 1410mm - 1960mm (141cm - 196cm).
B The TUBmat® will suit baths measuring between 650mm (65cm) to 800mm (80cm) in width.
There are 9 TUBmat® models in our range that will suit around 99% of house baths around the world and it is the length of your bath that will determine which model TUBmat® you will need!

You have established that you have a wall bath which most of us do.
Step 1: Measure the length of your bath tub (measurement A).
If your wall bath is up against (i) two walls and a shower or (ii) three walls and there is a little ledge between a wall and your bath or (iii) your bath is open at one of the ends, all you will need to do is measure the actual bath and write that measurement down.
Step 2: Confirm the width of your bath (measurement B) is within the range 650mm (65cm) to 800mm (80cm). There is no need to write this measurement down.
The above Diagram is displayed on every page. The highlighted Circle indicates the Step you’re up too.
