I thought I would give you some feedback concerning your great product as I appreciated your email. I was hesitant to buy simply because I could not see it hence the email I sent you if there was anywhere we could go and see your product. Your email put my mind at ease and as you know we purchased our own system. The quality is better and the bath is larger than we imagined. Well it is up and running and we are using it with our 4 mnth old baby and we love it. We should have bought it from the beginning but we mistakenly bought a separate bath & changetable and the bath has already been outgrown. We bath and change all nappies on the tubmat. .... how much we love the Tubmat, it is probably the best thing we have bought for our little boy. We bought it back in April this year, and it was exactly what we had been looking for, a combination bath and changetable unit that is easy to fill and empty. The combination units we looked at in the shops were rather flimsy and not very sturdy. The Tubmat is really good quality, it is very practical and doesn’t take up any unnessary space. Can you please tell me if I can convert my Tubmat to your Free Standing model. We are just about to shift into our new home and it has a corner spa. Does the Tubmat suit a corner spa? If so I’ll take some photos for you. We love your system it was the best baby purchase we made. We use it all the time compared to some useless bits we’ve purchased. I now need it more than ever though as the corner spa will be impossible to use. New mum experience...... I bought a wooden change table for my nursery and a separate bath on a stand and stopped using the bath on the stand pretty quickly because it wobbled around too much. I felt uneasy using it,
(I had NO idea what I was in for when buying in the shop). I tried the bath without the stand on my kitchen bench once but it was far too high and could’nt use it, so I gave the dining table a go which was a better height. The whole process took forever though. I was forever setting up, drying wet areas, packing away, draining and filling and found that I had enough pretty quickly. Bath time was really starting to get to me. With no alternative I tried the house bath, which was worse. I ended up buying you know one of those bath seats to sit her in from another retailer ofcourse..... I had in for the women where I bought all my gear from. Some of these sales people give me the irrits, they’ll sell you anything they can and really don’t care and you really only find out what you are in for when having to actually do it...... EVERY DAY. Down on my knees every day was horrific. This saga went on for me. Next, I bought a seat that helps you sit next to the house bath to help make kneeling more comfortable. Not a great option. Lifting my baby out from the bath down on my knees was scary every time. She is wet & slippery and I could feel the strain on my back. It really doesn’t make sense when you think about it and the advice you read from the so called experts on the net is absolute rubbish. I would have to say most of it is written by non mums that have never had to bath a baby daily. Once you have to do it you soon find out. My change table on the other hand was pretty good and sturdy. I bought a good one costing me over $500.00 by the time you add the mat on. Changing nappies in the nursery was okay at first until she grew a little and the poos smelt disgusting. I was sort of expecting this but the nursery stunk all the time and I hated the thought of having her sleeping in that smell, so we moved it into the laundry. Anyway I am telling you guys this because I love your product and I had just become pregnant with my 2nd when someone told me about your product so I hope others read this. When I look at what I spent for all the different products that I bought I feel pretty stupid. It worked out to about double the amount for what it cost me to buy my Tubmat. I love my Tubmat, It saves me heaps of time and I have everything near me in the bathroom. I can bath or change anytime..... It’s always ready. I wish I seen this right from the beginning and that it was for sale in retailers although it probably would cost double the amount. Anyway I am a more than happy customer so I thought I would let you know hoping this helps other parents so they don’t get sucked in by retailers. All I can say is don’t be mad guys the Tubmat is by far the best product and is by far the cheapest alternative when you compare all the other products that you will end up buying. Now I know why there are so many products in the retailers.......bathing a baby is a pain unless you have the Tubmat. Thank you so much for supplying your bath/change table product customized to suit my situation with the shower screen issue. It is truly wonderful! My Dad who is a builder has just finished installing it! One thing that he suggested is I ask you if we could purchase another set of tracks that allows the change table to slide over from the left with an extra 270 mm length? Whilst I had my nephew here today and was able to change him without too much drama, extending the track by the mentioned length would make it perfect. We realise this will mean the bath would be accessible to the left of the change mat when it was fully locked into position. Please let me know if you are prepared to supply the tracks with the additional length and the relevant charges.Thank you again for customising the size. Actually I’m an electrical engineer, and have followed IKEA furniture instructions (built quite a few pieces of IKEA furniture in the past) generally with no trouble. The TUBmat instructions look quite comprehensive and the Parts seem of quality though, we’re happy so far. We were also delighted that the change mat looks much better than what we saw on the website (actually more green and delightful looking than the darker blue color I saw from the laptop screen), and the bath tub too was way bigger than we imagined from looking at the website pictures (now I have no doubt a 3 year old + baby can fit in there). What an awesome invention. Wish it was around when I had babies. I never liked the small change tables and always used a kitchen table or desk in the baby\’s room so that I could bath them and had space beside to put them straight on to the change mat to dress. But there is time wasted bucketing water and jugging it out. My daughter is pregnant and the home they rent does not have a house bath, so I have been madly searching the internet for something big enough to bath a child in until they can shower. Didn\’t have much luck, so you can imagine my excitement when I found your web site. The bathroom is too small to accommodate the tubmat, but there is a small area off the laundry that may just work. Do I understand correctly that it is just the legs that can adjust to 650mm wide and 1120 mm long and that the table top stays the same size whichever model you choose? Is the 1400mm long and 750 wide the smallest tubmat? Do you have them displayed at your site or if you wish to look at them do you need to go to a retail store stockist? Hi, We have set up the TUBmat this weekend and I really liked setting it up. Genius design, neat construction and perfect fit. It looks absolutely stunning and we’re looking forward using it. Thanks again for your great product. There was one thing though that puzzled me a bit; I have actually a couple of 16mm screws too short and the same amount of 19mm extra. Thanks to Google we found you. We were faced with a major problem once realizing; how are we going to bath our baby when we don’t have a house bath. Many of our friends told us to not buy a normal baby bath because they don’t last long. So we were going to get a bath installed and found there were complications involved which sent the cost up and up. I will most certainly be recommending your product to others. However once we set it up I have realised that the TUBmat is a little too high for my partner. We tell everyone we know about it and in-fact a few of our friends have also purchased one after seeing ours. The reason for my email is that we are moving to another house and the bath is larger than our current bath. Please have a look at the attached photos with the new bath and the attachment with the dimensions and tell me what we need to do. I’ve looked online and it seems that I just need an extension top to extend the top. Our systems top is 1400mm in length I think we just need a top that is about 200mm wide and that will do it. Well I must say we definitely made the right investment in purchasing it! Our baby was born at an unexpected 9.5 lbs. He was delivered naturally as well and what a traumatising experience that was. He is only getting bigger and bigger (4 weeks tomorrow) and the tubmat has definitely made it easier to change and bathe him without breaking our backs.
